A SYNOPSIS OF A LESSON

TOPIC: Self- presentation.
MAIN AIM: Developing speaking skills - fluency and accuracy.
AIMS: After the lesson the student will be able to:
divide free time activities into 3 groups and match activities to each group, answer personal questions, give self-presentation with basic information such a name, age, a place of living, school and interests
MATERIALS: whiteboard, magnets, labels with names offree time activities, computer connected to projector, projector
STAGE:
Warm- up:
Students answer the question: What do you like doing in your free time?
Controlled practice:
Students put on a whiteboard labels with names of free time activities, which divide into 3 groups: sport, hobbies, housework.
Semi- controlled practice:
Hearing students - verbally answer to personal questions. Deaf students- write answers to personal questions on a computer:
What is your name? How old are you? Where do you live? What school do you go to? What do you do in your free time?
Free practice:
Hearing students present themselves without support questions. Deaf students - without support questions- write a self- presentation on a computer.
